December Happening!

December is one of my favourite month of the year apart of Apirl. Why? Because it's all about Christmas, shopping for Christmas presents (which i enjoyed doing that), getting the house all clean and pretty, christmas carolings, christmas parade and most of all to celebrate the Birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Last December has been fun although tiring! Accomplished many things which i thought was impossible. And i am very proud of myself and of course some of my partners-in crime. Let me just share some pictures with you.

To start off with the month, we had our usual mini steamboat and BBQ dinner at the so called garden

Look at that!
Last year, the Miri Carollers group started their caroling on the December 2nd. Krokop, police complex are amongst the areas that they covered. It took them 2 days to finish. As usual, i will be joining the Senadin Group every year.

Nicole, trying her talent on the piano. Ended up with drums instead. haha
Every year in the month of December, the Miri City Council will be organizing the Miri City Parade. This year, the RC had the opportunity to host the event (i think). Evonne and I worked our ass off every single night for 2 weeks to prepare lanterns, candle holders. Not forgetting our partner-in-crime, Adam who made a cross lanterns. Good Job, guys! Others who helped out were, Frankie Wranthye, Sebastian, Victoria Jane, Eileen, Karen, Shareleen, Veldori, Frank N., Priscilla Andrew and her team (not sure of their names.. sorry) and DADDY!

Here comes the day! Look! they are holding our candle holder!

We had our family Christmas dinner earlier on December 22nd at Kok Chee Restaurant which also coincided with the Chinese festival. Food was incredible yummy.

St. Columba, Christmas Eve celebration was held at Mega Hotel at 8pm. Attendance were overwhelming. After 3 months of practicing and hard work, the Choir sang very well that night. GOOD JOB, CHOIR! Do not stop here, continue to sing for the Lord. As well as our dedicated pianist, Diana who played so well that night.

The next day, we had a Christmas open house starting at 11am. Families, friends and colleagues came to visit non-stop from 11am till 5pm and from 7pm onwards till 10pm.

That's all from me now. More pictures on facebook
