My April Part I

Sorry guys, I've not been updating my blog lately. So i'm taking this opportunity at work (since i have nothing much to do) to update you all on what have been done or what was going on for the past one month.

Again, I was in Kuching for my birthday. Cun-cun it was good friday. We decided not to celebrate it this year. Around this time of the month last year, 2009, it was my graduation. Now you know how fast time flies. So, that evening after Good friday service, we went back to Kuching to celebrate grandpa's 89th birthday on the following day. As usual, families and close friends came and we had great time karaoke-ing and poco-pocoing. I'll update this blog again with pictures. :)

A week after Easter, Josephine & Frankie got married! I'm still not used to it that she's married. It felt like only yesterday we shared the same room and had our own 'girl's talk' each time the youth has retreat or fellowship and now i don't think we can do it anymore :( A week before their big day, we were excited with the preparation especially on the decoration. It was our first and we were afraid if something went wrong with the balloons on the day itself. hehehe.

Picture 1 - This is how our "Greek Balloon Column" looks like. The girls did a wonderful job.
Picture 2 - "The Wedding Signage" Evonne the maker
Picture 3 - Us, ladies who worked our ass off that night. Awesome experience
Picture 4 - Not forgetting Joseph, our balloon pumper who flew all the way from the UK
So we planned a bridal shower for Jo and Frank on Monday. Unfortunately, both can't make it. Can't blame both of them also la.. Frank had family dinner and Jo was down with fever. So the cake ended up in our stomach. hehehe.. Oh yeah.. the fondant cake was made by Lisbeth. (Thanks beth! You did a great job in decorating the cake)

On Tuesday and Thursday, we had band practices for Jo's wedding. Amongst the songs were Thank You Lord, Hear these praises and Tuhan inilah hidupku. Lead by Audrey, Evonne and I the backup singers, Diana on the piano, Alvin the bongo-guy, Siradick on the bass and Baj the guitarhero.

*To be continued...
