A New Year, A New Resolution

Oprah once said "Cheers to the New Year and another chance to make it right". If you have hurt someone in the past or get hurt, forget about it. Start fresh. Start your new year with a new blank piece of paper. Even if you want to keep the old book, let it be filled with sweet memories.

Happy New Year to all of you who are reading this. I hope it's not too late. Been busy with things lately. pfftt... lame excuses.. Let's just say.. I'm lazy to update my blog. hehehe..

So how did u welcome your new year? As for me, we had a family gathering at home (my place). BBQ as usual. We started at 9.00pm till midnight. Welcome the new year playing fireworks. It was really fun indeed.

There are many activities, events line up for the year. When you look at the list, you will feel like it's almost Christmas again. A year seems to be short nowadays which mean you're getting old fast! Not to scare ya, but seriously you're aging really fast! :P

This year starts very well. Welcoming Baby Xavier, first born son of Alvin and Susan. So So happy for them and also not forgetting Baby Alya, second daughter of Beverly and Nick my cousins in Denmark. Rebecca is now a big sister. A friend of mine, Josephine is tying the knot in 3 months time. Can't wait to see the moment she said "I Do". I felt very honored and excited when i was given a task for her wedding preparation. >.<

Last week, when my uncle popped this question to me, "So maggie, what's ur new year resolution?" Can you imagine, i couldnt even think of an answer. It's because i have not made one! All i did was giggled. Well.. it's hard for me to make one. We always say we want to achieve something. But did we ever try hard enough to reach that goal? It's pointless just to say and nothing is done. Right?

So I hope your new year will be a meaningful one for you. May God bless you abundantly in whatever plans you have made. Amen!
